Delegation from the Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province visited UM to Promote Collaboration between Guangdong and Macao

A delegation from the Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province recently visited the University of Macau (UM) and received a warm welcome from UM Vice Rector Ge Wei. Ge gave the guests an overview of UM’s research innovation and knowledge transfer system, research outcomes, and talent training. During the visit, the delegation toured the State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicine and the State Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI. In addition, a meeting was held between the two parties to discuss and exchange views on the development of research platforms such as Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao joint laboratories and the recruitment of top international talents for the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

廣東省科學技術廳廳長王月琴率團訪問澳門大學，了解大學的發展及科研的情況。雙方就粵港澳聯合實驗室等平台建設、吸引國際頂尖人才參與粵港澳大灣區建設等議題交換意見，期望未來能加強在有關領域的合作。

訪問團在澳大副校長葛偉等領導的熱情接待下，先後參觀了中藥質量研究國家重點實驗室及模擬與混合信號超大規模集成電路國家重點實驗室，並舉行了座談會。在座談會上，葛偉副校長向訪問團詳細介紹了澳大在科研創新及轉化體系、科技創新成果以及人才培養方面的發展情況。他表示，在國家和特區政府的大力支持下，澳大近年來國際影響力不斷提升，科研水平也在不斷提高。王月琴對澳大近年來的發展和科研成果表示讚賞，並表示希望未來能夠進一步加強粵港澳科研機構之間的合作，共同推動大灣區的建設和發展。

訪問團成員還包括廣東省科學技術廳的交流合作處處長楊慧芳、實驗室與平台基地處副處長羅霄鵬、成果轉化與區域創新處一級主任科員江翌昕, 廣東省科技合作研究促進中心的部長袁艶，廣東省科技基礎條件平台中心的高級工程師羅俊博及鄭偉鴻。澳大健康科學學院院長鄧初夏、應用物理及材料工程研究院院長湯子康、中華醫藥研究院院長陳新、模擬與混合信號超大規模集成電路國家重點實驗室主任麥沛然、科技學院海洋科學及技術系主任徐杰、中華醫藥研究院副教授何承偉及助理教授趙永華亦參與了接待。
