Director-general of Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province visits UM

A delegation led by Wang Yueqin, director-general of the Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province, visited the University of Macau (UM) today (27 March). The delegation gained a deeper understanding of UM’s research and development, and engaged in discussions on cooperation in innovation and technology between Guangdong and Macao, as well as the establishment of joint laboratories.

The delegation was warmly received by UM Rector Yonghua Song and Vice Rector Xu Jian. During the meeting, Song provided an overview of UM’s development and research strategy. He highlighted the university’s long-standing partnerships with universities and research institutes in Guangdong Province, and expressed hope for further cooperation. Wang spoke highly of UM’s research strengths and achievements. She also expressed hope for continued strengthening of science and technology cooperation between Guangdong and Macao, as well as the development of Guangdong-Macao joint laboratories.

The delegation also visited the State Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI and the State Key Laboratory of Internet of Things for Smart City, gaining insights into UM’s innovations and achievements in microelectronics and smart cities.

廣東省科學技術廳廳長王月琴今（27）日率代表團訪問澳門大學，深入了解澳大科研發展，並就粵澳科技創新合作、聯合實驗室建設等議題進行交流。

代表團獲澳大校長宋永華、副校長徐建熱情接待。座談會上，宋永華介紹了澳大的發展概況及科研佈局。他指出，澳大與廣東高校及科研機構長期保持緊密合作，期待未來進一步深化聯動，共同服務粵港澳大灣區科技創新建設。王月琴高度評價澳大的科研實力與成果，期望雙方持續加強粵澳科技協同，積極推進粵澳聯合實驗室的發展。

代表團還考察了模擬與混合信號集成電路全國重點實驗室及智慧城市物聯網全國重點實驗室，了解澳大在微電子、智慧城市等領域的創新成果。

廣東省科學技術廳二級巡視員楊慧芳、橫琴粵澳深度合作區經濟發展局科技和人才處處長陳玲、廣東省科技合作研究促進中心交流引智部部長袁艷等陪同到訪。澳大微電子研究院副院長、模擬與混合信號集成電路全國重點實驗室主任麥沛然，研究服務及知識轉移辦公室主任周建濤，智慧城市物聯網全國重點實驗室副主任馬少丹，橫琴澳門大學高等研究院常務副院長陳國凱、粵澳模塊化芯片設計和測試聯合實驗室執行主任陳知行等參與接待。
