He Defang, deputy secretary general of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China and a counsellor of the State Council, led a delegation to visit the University of Macau (UM). During the visit, UM representatives introduced to the delegation the university’s development history, research layout, unique advantages, as well as its commitment to nurturing more talent and advancing technological innovations to contribute to the development of Macao and the country. The delegation also visited UM’s three state key laboratories to learn about the innovative research, achievements, and future development directions of the university. He highly praised UM’s research accomplishments in various fields in recent years and expressed the hope for closer collaboration and interaction between UM and the mainland, which will foster greater contributions to the scientific and technological development of the country and Macao.

國家科技部副秘書長、國務院參事賀德方率團訪問澳門大學，獲澳大校長宋永華、副校長徐建熱情接待。賀德方一行對澳大近年來的發展成就給予認可，並對澳大在科研領域取得的豐碩成果表示讚賞。
代表團首先參觀了大學展館，徐建向代表團介紹了澳大的歷史沿革和科研佈局，強調澳大正積極發揮“特區大學、特殊使命、特別關懷、特色辦學”的獨特優勢，培養更多人才，創造更多科技成果，助力澳門特區經濟適度多元化和融入國家發展大局。
隨後，代表團參觀了澳大智慧城市物聯網國家重點實驗室、模擬與混合信號超大規模集成電路國家重點實驗室及中藥質量研究國家重點實驗室，了解澳大三個國家重點實驗室的創新研發、成果轉化及未來發展方向。賀德方讚揚澳大近年來在不同領域取得的科研成果，期望澳大與內地加強互動，為國家和澳門的科技事業作出更多貢獻。
深圳市科技創新委員會一級調研員文莉、首都科技發展戰略研究院院長關成華等亦一同到訪澳大。澳大中華醫藥研究院院長兼中藥質量研究國家重點實驗室代主任陳新、圖書館館長吳建中、研究服務及知識轉移辦公室主任王春明、全球事務總監王瑞兵、珠海澳大科技研究院代院長陳國凱、中華醫藥研究院副院長路嘉宏、模擬與混合信號超大規模集成電路國家重點實驗室副主任冼世榮、智慧城市物聯網國家重點實驗室副主任馬少丹、區域海洋研究中心代主任徐杰等亦參與接待。
